News 2010, infos officielles uniquement merci

The season 2009 of European Autocross Championship has just recently finished, though drivers hatch a plan for the next season. Some of them are building new cars, some are changing to rallycross, but other are returning. 147 days left on count till the first round of the season 2010.
The existing Division One driver Russian Vadim Makarov after winning the title has decided to turn to rallycross and the next season is going to drive in European Rallycross Championship Division 1A. His autocross Å koda Fabia is on sale and there are already three interested queuing up two purchase the Champion car.

Two other Russian drivers are going to come back to EAC. One of them Alexander Kvashnin who tried him this season in European Rallycross Championship( à confirmer puisque c'est Sergey qui à fait du Rallycross en 2009; Alexandr quant à lui a travailler sur la préparation d'une CLIO III). The other is Aschot Ervandian, however it is still not clear will he drive or he will give his car over to his son. Who will drive will be decided shortly before the start of the season. Valentin Korshunov will drive his Ford Puma, Alexander Faleev will proceed with his Škoda Fabia, as well as Vladimir Sorochinskyi with his Ford Focus.

Italy will be represented with Christian Giarolo who drives with the license of Czech Republic. Also the beginner of this season 2009 Gianluca Ferretti will keep on fighting for the title. It is also possible that Davide Negri will join the serial for more than couple of rounds as he did that in the previous seasons.

Lithuanians Paulius Pleskovas and Nikita Kondrakhin are also preparing for the upcoming season( Nikita me confiat qu'il avait été abordé par un Team Finnois pour du Rally). To be in good form both of them are going to participate in winter rally of Finland.

Hungarian Tamas Karai is preparing completely new car, as well as Czech representatives Vaclav Fejfar and Jan Bartoš. Both of them are building new Škoda Fabias. Another driver behind the wheel of Škoda Fabia will be Dutchman Marcel Ottink. His team has recently started the work on the new car.

Also Czech Ladislav Brozek will do his best to win the crown. Rallycross drivers Rene Munich and Jos Kuypers may also join some EAC rounds.

Janis Boks a vendu sa voiture au champion UKRAINIEN d'Autocross qui devrait participer au CE en 2010.

Le jeune pilote tchèque Marek Sekanina (18 ans) a eu l'occasion d'essayer la magnifique machine de Martin Svabensky en fin de saison lors d'une épreuve nationale. Il compte participer à la totalité du championnat d'Europe l'an prochain. Sur quelle machine, rien de défini pour le moment.

Son palmares: 3ème au championnat national, 9èmè en championnat d'Europe






Vladislav STETINA(20 ans) devrait lui aussi participer à la totalité du CE 2010:



Tadeas STANEK (19 ans) participera à quleques épreuves du CE au volant de son chassis HOSEK.

Dennis ENGEL arrête l'autocross !




Champion d'Europe D3A en 2002 et 2003, Dennis Engel arrête sa carriere en Autocross.
La seule chance de le voir au départ du championnat d'europe 2010 serait qu'il ne réussisse pas à vendre son buggy cet hiver.
Sinon, on devrait le retrouver sur asphalte en VW Polo Cup.

Russian autocross driver Nikita Kondrakhin, who ended sixth in Division One of European Championship for Autocross Drivers of 2009, has decided to quit with autocross and move to rally. In the same time the driver recognizes that in the new season he probably will join the round in Bauska and Nova Paka.
In the season 2010 he is going to join some Finnish rally team and will drive Finnish rally championship and probably several World Rally Championship rounds with Group N4 car.

After five years interval Nikita Kondrakhin resumed with autosport debuting in European Autocross Championship in 2008. Then he joined just rounds in Bauska and Weigsdorf-Köblitz driving Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IIV from Aurelius Simaska. In season 2009 he drove the 470 Hp powered VW Polo from European Champion another Lithuanian Nerius Naujokaitis. The season for Kondrakhin turned out quite stable and in the last round of the Championship in Maggiora he even managed to earn his first ever victory beating Ladislav Brozek and Tamas Karai in the final race. The driver himself is not satisfied with results of the season as the car had too many technical problems to fight for higher overall position. The best racecourses Nikita finds Bauska, Nova Paka and Slovakian Lucenec.

These two years driving autocross Nikita takes for good training before moving to rally.
